Successfully Crowd Funded Project

Concept to Production

Reusable water bottles are a sustainable alternative to single use plastic. However, they often end up unused as they can be hard to clean, dry, and maintain. Jonny recognised this problem but was unsure how to take the next step. After being referred to JNDC, he approached us for support to develop his initial idea.

Our Design and Project Review revealed a clear path forward. A key priority was securing investment. Together we developed a concept and prototype which attracted over 650 backers on Kickstarter, and BreakBottle was ready to go into production! JNDC continued to support them through this process, managing production, testing, and quality control.

Since working with us, BreakBottle has secured further funding and support from the UK government. They have also partnered with Pump Aid, and each bottle sold equals a week of clean water for 50 people in water poverty.
